Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Recruitment 2013, 510 various vacancies

Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the following posts under Government of Assam.
Medical and Health officer,
Assistant professor in Cotton College, Guwahati,
Assistant professor in Haflong Government College, Haflong


Age limit:  Minimum age should be 21 years and maximum age is 38 years that is decided to be till the date 1^st Jan 2013. Applicants under the reserved category will be granted with the concession in the age by 5 years i.e. for Sc and ST applicants.
Educational Qualification:  Educational qualification is as below for the particular post:

1. Medical and Health officer: Minimum MBBS qualification having Registration under Assam Medical Council, 1960.
2. Assistant professor in Cotton College, Guwahati  &
3. Assistant professor in Haflong Government College, Haflong: Candidates that are post graduate with aggregate of 55% marks. Also the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

• Application forms are obtainable from the Issue & Receipt Section of the Assam Public Service Commission, Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 on written requisition addressed to the Deputy Secretary, Assam Public Service Commission stating clearly the name of the post and Department, upto 4.00 PM during office hours except holidays OR by downloading the same from the APSC website www.apsc.nic.in
•  The last date of issue of application form by the undersigned and submission of application form duly filled up to the Commission’s office is fixed on 10th October, 2013.
